Nice to meet you! GoTutor was founded by Dylan Archer and Ruben Tanner — two students at the University of Portsmouth who came together with one shared goal: to make quality tutoring more accessible, personal, effective, and simpler.

Co-Founder / CTO

Currently studying Software Engineering, Ruben brings the tech vision to GoTutor. With a drive to get it done we have never seen, and a desire to build smart solutions (with thousands of lines of code), Ruben is the driving force behind our platform's development and user experience.

Dylan Archer

Tutor / CEO

Studies Economics, Finance, and Banking, and is passionate about making private tuition as simple as possible. With a strong interest in both education and business, Dylan focuses on growing GoTutor into a platform that genuinely focuses on students with their education, tutors with their careers, and everyone with simplicity.

Our Story

We started GoTutor because we've both been stuck on a topic the night before an exam, or wishing for clearer explanations from teachers. We wanted to create a space where students could easily connect with tutors who actually get what it feels like.
